Orly received her Ph.D. in structural biochemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She studied structural characterizations of proteins from the avidin family, aimed at improving and developing biotechnological applications. Orly is currently performing postdoctoral research at the Furman lab in the Hadassah Medical School at the Hebrew University. Her research focuses on new mechanisms of protein oligomerization, using computational tools.
